Nacho Hippo was recently listed as one of the top eight places in South Carolina for margaritas. We happen to agree, but we have some other great drinks on our menu as well. Tag along this month as we explore the drinks menu at Nacho Hippo!
The article by “Best Things South Carolina” kicks off with the question, “Is there ever a bad time for a margarita in South Carolina?” Obviously, the answer is no, and if you have ever been to Nacho Hippo, you will understand why we feel that way. Sure there is no shortage of places in Myrtle Beach to grab a drink, but there are only a few places that make you want to come back. Nacho Hippo is proud to offer two locations to our guests for you to sit back, relax, and sip on our take on some classic cocktails. There is a reason that we have been voted “Best of the Beach Margaritas.”
Since the article discussed our fabulous margaritas, let’s discuss some of our other options.
We can start with our Fruity Marga-Tinis. These martini-inspired drinks are served over ice in a 16-ounce pint glass, and they pack a punch. There are three options for you to choose from: The Hip Lemonade features watermelon vodka, cranberry juice, and pink lemonade for a sweet and smooth drink. Our Berry Goodness offers blueberry vodka, pomegranate puree, a cranberry-sour mix, and a splash of lemon-lime soda. It is perfect for sweet and sour. The last martini-inspired offering is the Tickle My Mango. Featuring mango vodka, agave, pineapple, and orange juices, this is one of our top sellers in this category. It isn’t really a surprise; besides mango being a trendy fruit right now, the blend of flavors from the juices and the agave is tough to pass up.
How do you feel about mojitos? Well, ours are so cool. We call them Hip-Jitos! Following traditional recipes with new flavors, our Hip-Jitos rely on quality rum, fresh mint, simple syrup, fresh fruit puree, and a splash of soda just like a traditional mojito, but we kick it up a notch with our Peach, Strawberry, Raspberry, Mango, or Pomegranate flavored rums. You can’t go wrong with a Hip-Jito!
If you are looking for something a little LARGER…. we have that too! Our Grande Selections offers drinks served in a GIANT 32-ounce glass. These oversized cocktails offer 32 ounces of enjoyment. Choose between the Grande Margarita, an oversized yet delicious margarita, the Mexicali, a classic and refreshing fresh-squeezed margarita topped with a Coronita (a mini Corona), or try the Drunken Cooler that features a spiced rum, coconut rum, and a mix of pineapple and orange juices. These drinks will not leave you wanting!
