Nacho Hippo is a hiptastic cantina in Myrtle Beach serving up ‘Best of the Beach’ Nachos and Margaritas. With our two locations in both North Myrtle Beach and The Market Common – your food fiesta with friends and family  is never far away. If you’ve never dined with us, you may have some questions regarding our kids menu or if you can bring a furry friend.   1. Are animals allowed in the dining room or on porches or patios?

Although we’re a fan of animals (I mean our mascot is a hippo), unfortunately no, animals are not allowed on the premises. This is due to DHEC regulations that require certain additional sanitation station modifications to each pet friendly area. However, service animals are permitted.

  1. Do you offer Gluten Free options?

Though we do not offer a certified gluten free kitchen environment for those with medical restrictions, we do offer several options for those following a gluten free lifestyle. We do our best to meet everyone’s dietary restrictions. Please speak to your waitress or give us a call ahead of time to see what their current gluten free offerings are.

  1. What allergies do you accommodate?

At this time Nacho Hippo utilizes ingredients that contain milk, eggs, soy, wheat and flour, and peanuts. We also utilize vegetable oil in their fryers. Please call us if you plan on visiting for more detail if you have concerns and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

  1. Do you offer vegetarian and vegan options?

We get creative in the kitchen and we do offer plenty of nacho and taco creations that can be vegetarian or vegan. And if those aren’t what you’re craving – we can toss an amazingly fresh salad.

  1. Do your locations have alcohol or a bar?

We’re known for mixing up the best margaritas in Myrtle Beach – and they don’t get that title without a little tequila! So yes, we boast a large selection of liquor, wine as well as draft and bottled beer. And both of our locations have a bar with plenty of seating.

  1. What sort of dining areas do you provide?

Same restaurant – two different dining areas. Both offer an electric atmosphere with a fun fiesta vibe. If you’re searching for an open air dining experience, check out our North Myrtle Beach location. Think of twinkling colorful lights, a fire pit, outdoor stage and plenty of picnic tables, high top and low top tables. And don’t worry – we keep it warm in the winter. Our Market Common location is a more indoor dining experience with a porch/patio overlooking the lake. There are both high top and low top tables as well as booths. At both locations you can challenge your family and friends to a game of corn hole! 

  1. Do you have private dining areas?

We do offer a private dining room that is available to reserve at no cost in our off-season at our Market Common location. This is a great option for large groups, birthday parties or holiday gatherings. Give them a call for current availability and offerings.  

  1. Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations at this time. If you are with a large party or planning to bring a large party, just give us a call ahead and we will try to accommodate you as best we can or advise you when is best to come in. Please remember that seating is a first come, first serve basis, so calling ahead does not guarantee seating when your party arrives.  

  1. Do you have live music?

Music makes a party so yes – we have local live music regularly at both our North and South locations! Please check our online events tabs at the top of our homepage for the full schedule for each location.

  1. Do you offer carry out or delivery?

If you can’t stay and hang – of course you can come by and pick up some of our hiptastic cuisine! You will however have to drop in and pick up you carry out order because we do not deliver.

  1. Do you offer any specials or happy hour?

We offer an amazing off-season happy hour that features daily specials on both our food and drinks from 4 – 7 pm. Keep up with our daily specials through our social media.  

  1. Do you have social media accounts?

  1. Do you offer a kid’s menu?

As you can tell by our oversized nachos – we believe bigger is better. But yes, we do offer various fun-sized entrees for kids.

  1. What type of dining experience can I expect?

You can expect a relaxed and beach casual dining experience with an energetic atmosphere that is perfectly suited for happy hour meet-ups, hanging out with friends, and family outings alike. No need to dress up – shorts and flip flops are welcome here!

  1. What type of food does your menu offer?

Our name says it all – we’ve got outstanding nachos! We’ve got a Tex Mex approach to our cuisine and use only the freshest ingredients so every item is bursting with flavor. Our nachos are fresh and handcrafted along with our tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and everything else on the menu! Enjoy awesome appetizers with the table, soups, salads, and more.

  1. What are your hours of operation?

Seasonal Hours – Winter 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. for the kitchen / 11 p.m. bar, Summer 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. for the kitchen / 12 a.m. bar

  1. Do you have merchandise for sale?

Yes! We have plenty of gear for sale. Just see either location for our current styles and size availability.
